I’ve been feeling totally exhausted today. I was planning on heading out to all these halloween performances… Rainbow Theater, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dead POEts Society, and, well, going downtown…

I didn’t do any of it. And I blame it on myself freaking out about the upcoming election. Seriously, I’m checking, MSNBC, BBC, etc. etc. over and over and over, for no real reason. Arghuguh.

Got yet another midterm tomorrow, too. I can’t focus on studying.

New BMS… please play it :(

BMS – Theme to 忍者シェフあやか (BM Version) (4.63 MB)

It’s a much smaller download this time, since I encoded everything in 8-bit Stereo PCM @ 22KHz, except for the background files, which are at a nice 44KHz.

Contrary to the previous BMS I made, it’s got BGM now… and while it still has a prominent bass drum beat (like other beatmania eurobeat songs), it’s definitely got a lot of variation in terms of what else is being played… for example, some of the time you’re playing the lead, other times the guitar, other times piano, other times backup vocals.

Download MixWaver][ and try it out. Extract it, place the FOLDER CONTAINING the files in the Archetype zip in the same directory as mixwaver2.exe, open the program. You can either “listen” to it or “play” it.

Difficulties: 5 key (7☆), Light 7 (4☆), 7 key (6☆), Another 7 (7☆).

Baseball sucks and you shouldn’t watch it because you know you hated it too until something stupid started happening and everyone was like oh wah wah look at the socks they’re winning a game.

Theme to 忍者シェフあやか (BM Version)
Call me a major poseur for being all Japanese, but the idea of “Ninja Chef Ayaka” isn’t my doing! I decided to do a remake of my old MIDI that I originally made for the creator so I could turn it into a BMS (hence the “BM Version”… BMS coming when I’m done chopping the file up and whatnot). I’m thinking of submitting the BMS to whatever kind of contest DDRei has coming up, but in the meantime, enjoy my attempt to imitate Y&Co. to the umpteenth degree.

Thanks again to Beau for equalizing help, and Lysette for my nitpicks for the kana in the title.
