I guess one could say I’ve stopped blogging for a while because I have nothing to add to the attitude of the NYCWTC tragedy/incident/accident/mistake/whoopsie. Every insight that’s ever been known to man has arisen in this time of remorse/regret/sadness/cake/depression. So I guess I have nothing to say about that. Sorry! :)

This page is not working correctly for some reason. I have to get that checked upon. Weird.

My new webcomic, Midgard, is getting a nice amount of popularity, but NOT ENOUGH!!! SO READ IT! It’s probably just too intelligent to attract any big fans. Heh, that’s what they all say.

Well, the week’s gone pretty much as expected. We’ve talked about the attack at school, and had a moment of silence today. I decided to join in the “spirit” by wearing red, white, and blue, and putting on a white ribbon. I put on the white ribbon, though, mostly because it covers up an “O” on my shirt and makes it look like it says “TIMMAY Hilfiger.”

As you can see, I’m not really emotional about the whole attack. In fact, I don’t really care to talk about it at all. I’d really like much better to talk about myself.

I’m drawing as much as I can for my new webcomic, Midgard. So far, I’ve designed three characters and introduced none, and I’m getting an adequate amount of hits for a starter’s strip. I hope it’s at least 1/10th as popular as RPG World… even though, surprisingly, that’s a long shot. Also, now that I’m in full gear with my junior year of high school, my schedule’s pretty much packed. I even have to manage my free time, mostly because of Midgard. Right now I really should be drawing some more.

I was given a full merit scholarship to Vector Theater Conservatory. I think that that’s a big honor, since I was the only one to get one for the whole year, but that’s probably because I’m the best new person, and there weren’t a lot of those. But I got one nonetheless, exempting me from a registration fee of $1400. So that’s what I’ll be doing for extracurricular activities… boy, now that I think about it, I’m completely swamped!

And then I was just reminded that I have a babysitting job tomorrow, and then a birthday party, and then an SAT practice, and then aughblagughalgh…

Well, that’s all I can write for now. Must go and do something else more productive. I think. Read my comic. Bye.

Hello! New York’s gone!

It was pretty awkward that we had to sing “Joyful, Joyful” in Choir, 1st period.

What else… gossip travels fast… already I’ve heard rumors from eeeediots that people think SF’s Trans-America Pyramid has been bombed, and that malls dotted around the country have also been bombed.

This is SO COOL! But I’ll be flooded with melodrama because I say so. But it’s like Independence Day or something!

San Francisco’s pretty much closed because New York is. Weird.

Well, got to go! Have a nice day! :D

I’ve had what one would call an “Unfortunately/Fortunately” day.

Unfortunately, I had 3 tests and a drama presentation to do today. Fortunately, they all went down pretty well. Especially what I thought would be my hardest… the Honors Chemistry one.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get my part in the play that I auditioned for yesterday. Fortunately, I got a free scholarship ($700 forking dollars) to the Advanced Theater Ensemble at Vector Theater Conservatory. Felix, a Vector veteran as well as a complete WEIRD-ASS (who introduced me to Everything2! Yay!) will see me there, I guess.

Unfortunately, this girl that I wanted to ask to a dance (actually, I didn’t want to, I was COMMANDED by my mom) was feeling pretty bad today. Fortunately, I got to hang out with the stoners after school and see them laugh at my oh-SO-funny jokes!

Unfortunately, we ran out of ink in our printer and I was yet again COMMANDED to bike to Ideal Stationery to buy ink cartriges. Fortunately, while I was there I got some really great pens and pencils for drawing my comic.

Which brings me to my next line of business: Keenspace is finally letting me in! That means I can start showing my webcomic at http://midgard.keenspace.com. So far, I’ve drawn #1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. I’ve been skipping around…

I also made a piano version of Serene Weather from Tales of Phantasia. I love the end of this tune… the rest is, eh, so-so.

Fook! I took a look at the rook book that cooks the kook gook nook, Brooke.

My musical talent is getting its proper amount of fame. I’ve already been congratulated by Mark Jansen VGMusic for my completion of Suteki Da Ne. Also (gather ’round, it’s story time), yesterday I answered an ad on Craig’s List for an organist opening at a church in San Francisco. When the priest called me back for the job, he was amazed at my great piano playing skill (12 years’ of practice worth) and said he wished there were more kids like me out there (mostly because of my knowledge of ancient Hebrew scriptures, though).

In other ego – er, news, Hewlett-Packard bought Compaq. Wow.

But enough about HP, let’s talk about me. Soon, I’ll be auditioning for the fall play, “I Forgot Its Name” by Someoneorother. The catch, though, is that there are 2 MALE PARTS in the play. Out of the wide range of “accomplished” actors in TL, I seriously doubt I’ll get picked for such a role. My chances will be doubled, though, if I dress in drag (yes, doubled, there are 4 female parts, and I do a pretty nice female if you ask me). But why not try? Hell, everyone else might have been scared away by the small cast problem.

My two future MIDIs I will make are “Battle Mode” from Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, and “The REAL Normal Battle, we SWEAR” from FFX. Unfortunately, I searched all last afternoon+evening+night for both MP3’s, to no avail. I did finally find a ROM of DRMBM and rip a GYM file (which can actually be converted to MID, but it’s highly inaccurate unless you’re listening to, ugh, Phantasy Star).

Back to my 100,000,000,000,000,000 pages of homework to do! :D

Holy crap. This is terrible. The GIA is not only out of money, but their computer hard drives ha, as far as I’ve heard, literally melted. I’ve been a fan of the GIA ever since the days of Cosmo Canyon, and enjoyed its misinformation about the wonderful “intelligent” games, while completely ignoring the others (games I probably would have also liked, but that’s not the point). Doesn’t look like it’s going to survive. I don’t have enough time or enthusiasm to donate money. I’ll just have to wait until GameSpot or IGN become total monopolies… uh, that doesn’t make sense.

It’s late! It’s a Friday! You know what that means… it’s time for Jeffrey’s End of the First Week of School Rant!!!

I’ve been so FUCKING swamped for the last week that I haven’t had any time to blog about much. I apologize. But here’s what’s happened over the past few event-filled days!

I went to school a few times.

Ah, geez. And I was planning out an entire essay about how I did this and I did that all week. I guess I just lost my train of thought (finally, ugh!).

But here’s something I DID do: I DID upload a qualitey comic, the first issue to my upcoming webcomic, Midgard! (No relation to the Midgar Swamp.) So yayayayay… my week was not for lost. or seomthing
