I think that one takes a while…probably not a week, but it still takes a while. I did AOL, and I’m cancelling as soon as I get my fourth and fifth people to complete an offer

Did you bid on an item once you signed up for eBay? You have to bid, and not be automatically outbid. You don’t have to win the auction, though.

Oh man…awesomeness…well not that it isn’t completing, but awesomeness for signing up under me…I thank you kindly. My advice would be to abandon your e-bay account, and do the 50-day AOL thing. That’s what I did, and it took a couple days to register but then I got credit, as soon as I get all 5 people confirmed, I’m cancelling the AOL account. But who knows, maybe eBay just needs a lot of time…good luck either way.

CANCELING AN AOL ACCOUNT IS REALLY HARD.
Umm. Cancelling AOL is as hard as calling them up, telling them that you really, seriously actually want to cancel your account, and listening to a disclaimer. I did it in 5 minutes.
And Max, you can cancel your AOL account now. Your freeipods account is already confirmed. And when they ask you if you want to cancel once the free trial is near its end, say NO.
So what yer saying is that if given the opportunity to cancel but keep the account until the trial period ends, that I should just cancel and not keep it until the rest of the trial period, or should I keep it. I have no attachment to it one way or the other.
No, they worded it funny to me. They tried to persuade me to keep the account until my free trial ended – at which time I’d have to call in again and tell them that I want out. If they give you trouble, just tell them that you want to cancel your account and you want it so you NEVER HAVE TO CALL AGAIN.
Look, it’s not a big deal and certainly doesn’t take any planning. Just call them up and be done with it.
The person who referred me told me that it was easy to do and that it doesn’t take forever to do. The guy is my good friend and he wouldn’t be lying to me. They give the phone numbers on the site about the free iPods site. Plus I have 50 days to do it. So no, to some degree, I DO have an idea of what I’m doing.

Hehe, I was only being silly. I’ve got 5 unconfirmed, so I’m gonna wait on them for a day or two longer and then I’m gonna go apeshit with advertising.
