Internet Language Update

After much in-depth research and statements from many internet users, I have come to the conclusing that using “internet” as an ironic buzzword is PASSÉ and should not be done. Such phrases as:
“Internet drama… on the internet!”
-or-
“THE INTERNET IT IS COMING!!! INTERNET LOL!!!”
should not be said ever again. We get it, we’re not actually interacting as human beings, get over it.

    1. Because I’m making fun of you. Yes, you. Every time I decide to post on my LiveJournal, it’s not because it’s on a whim or because it’s, uh, my journal or anything, but it’s because I felt the need to point out one of your gaping flaws.
No but really, I’ve been doing this for a while:

      1. I didn’t really take offense, I just still find it kinda weird to still be claiming certain phrases to be “officially” unfunny or obsolete, as if it’s going to mark a new age where people besides Somethingawful.com members will refrain from using them.
Nothing wrong with telling others not to say stuff to you because it makes you roll your eyes, but to tell others that they shouldn’t say stuff period because they’d be stupid…*shrug* Laissez-faire.
