Getting the lazy to vote is fine, but keep in mind that you probably don’t want over half of the registered voters to actually exercise their voting capabilities =)
Eh, yeah, I actually do, come to think of it. The majority of the people might not be as smart or knowledgeable about certain aspects of government, but everyone has a right to their opinions, and should keep America a democratic republic. Even if things don’t turn out in my favor, and even if we have a bunch of podunk country hick-hogs “screwing up” the voting results.
I didn’t think you’d want people to stop voting just because it wasn’t in your favor, but would you honestly be OK with uneducated, lazy folks voting without knowing *anything* about the candidates? Some people simply don’t deserve to vote.
