I’m getting pretty addicted to Google News, but of course it’s in beta and nothing’s perfect. But I still like seeing headlines like this:

It’s still in Beta?
I’ve been addicted for like…months.
Everything besides Google’s search function has been in beta since the beginning of time and will continue to be so until the heat death of the universe.
Some suspect it’s a very unfunny in-joke.
My theory is that they call it “beta” so if anyone reports a bug “hey, it’s beta, thanks for finding it” rather than “oh shit we fucked up”
