Phoenix Wright

I seriously doubted and avoided this game for a long time since I didn’t understand the hype – mostly because I
1) dislike court sessions – they’re often very boring and unnecessary
2) don’t like most text games, Japanese especially – dating sims have given me a bad taste
but holy SHIT is Phoenix Wright entertaining. It’s amazingly well-written. All of the characters are deep and believable. It’s so amazingly gripping. You get such a feeling of victory (and defeat) at times that it leaves you giggling or flabbergasted.
Highly, highly recommended. There is no reason not to give this game a go. (uhh even if you don’t have a DS!) Buyit buyit buyit

      1. Don’t give up. Case 1-4 are ported from the GBA. Case 5 is entirely new. It’s the best case out of all of them. And I think it’s like as long as the other 4 combined, or maybe a little less.

  1. okay so here’s the deal. you’re going to play all the games for ds ever, win them all, and get really BORED of them, and then for my birthday you will give me all of your ds things. okay? 🙂 yes this is a very good plan yess. okay!!!

    1. DS emulators are pretty crappy as of yet.
And seriously DS’s are worth buying. There’s just too many good games for ’em.
      Games I got:
      Mario Kart DS
      New Super Mario Bros.
      Brain Age
      Tetris DS
Sonic Rush which i am returning
      Phoenix Wright

      1. The only DS game I have so far, and I’ve seriously considered getting each of the games you listed. I was apprehensive about Phoenix Wright too because I thought it’d be boring, but since it made you a believer I may be picking it up next.
Curious, though, what’s wrong with Sonic Rush?

        1. Sonic Rush is so difficult that it’s cheap. The bosses are ridiculous. In fact, I’m stuck at one and have tried about 30 times and at that point I just put it down and went to different titles. There are also parts where you need to do confusing but specific button combos to get to areas which are JUST out of reach, and that takes about a million times too.
And like the Sonic Advance titles, the levels are very poorly designed. A lot of pits in high-speed areas.
