Why is it that Bush voters I know are scared to present their views on things? I’ve heard in the past from some people that I’ve been known to “snap back” or interrupt others… but seriously, I just haven’t heard any viewpoints from my Bush-voting friends at all.
If I don’t really get any answer or reason as to why people might just not give me their opinions, I’ll just go with my own assumption: it’s because they’re insecure!
BTW, if you’re ever confused as to what exactly I’m talking about, my friends page is always there. 😉

  1. Dunno about your other friends, but…
Bush is very very hard to defend. It’s mostly a matter of idealogy; and you can’t really argue that too well aside from saying things like “Well… just because, I guess!” And no matter your opinion, one can’t argue against the facts that Bush is pretty stupid (or at least seems very much so) and a trigger-happy warmonger.
I am personally voting for him because most of the negative aspects of his policies don’t really affect me (I say most, mind you, so no need to make a list of things that no doubt will :P). As callous as it sounds, I don’t really care if he’s increasing taxes for the lower, working class. My family’s pretty much upper class, so as awful as it may be, I’m benefitting from his being an elitist ass.
The war overseas I’m not entirely for, but I believe in a Machiavellian sense of society. If America wants to invade a smaller country for it’s oil and nobody can actually physically stop us, there’s no reason we shouldn’t. I don’t care too much for the whole lying about why he did it, but I’d honestly prefer a stubborn liar to a flip-flopper like Kerry. With Bush you can pretty much tell where his zeal takes him; but Kerry epitomizes what I hate about politicians–he says what he thinks you want to hear more than what he believes. And I know it’s silly to let such a personality flaw influence my vote, at all, but there it is.

  2. Hey Jeff! Remember! Vote for me tomorrow!! I promise to be better than Bush and Kerry…combined times two! The Mikey Party shall have the White House the next four years!
