Also, I’ve taken it upon myself to create the LJ community for that roleplaying stuff I was talking about. Bob’s too busy to really administrate something like that. My days are also going to be slightly more filled from this point on, but hey, it’s freeform, casual roleplaying like the good ol’ days, and it doesn’t take too much effort.
The name of the community/town in which the “action” might just take place is called Mazaika. I’ll set up the name I reserved tomorrow.

Yeah, there definitely could be. Don’t want to make it too ridiculous, but we could have a comedic character.
But a serious pirate would be pretty awesome too… whatev. 😛
I’m game for either, and I’d end up right in the middle of serious and comical.
After all, pirates are “wild and crazy”, and do “funny things”, so you can’t really be a real pirate and do the whole thing as a straight-laced by-the-books character analysis.
And yes, I know that doing silly things out of the character of the roleplay can ruin things for everyone, and that’s not my gig. I wouldn’t mind being a socially dysfunctional member of the society. 🙂

I’m starting up a roleplaying community on LiveJournal. It’s fantasy-based. Basically, you just participate in a story – and you write your part from your own character’s perspective. I don’t know what exactly to say from there.
