Party thing time

OKKKKK
This is like the official RSVP thingo ding thing for my party that is actually happening!
Monday, August 9TH (edit: I hate calendars)
7PM to whenever
Plenty of sleeping places if desired
Watching Shaolin Soccer, and after that, a choice of:

  • Interstella 5555 (the Daft Punk movie)
  • Battle Royale (Japanese live-action movie about students killing each other)
  • Ice Age
  • Looney Tunes: Back in Action (hey I wanted to see it)
  • Office Space
  • Amélie
  • South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut
  • Bowling for Columbine
  • Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door
  • Star Wars: Clone Wars (Cartoon Network animated micro-series)
  • Select Cowboy Bebop episodes (I have all 26)
  • Select Azumanga Daioh episodes (I have all 26 and they’re SOOOO CUTE)
All movies are on my computer, quality is good, will be hooked up to TV through S-Video.
Will provide drinks, chips, sweets – please bring more if you can.
Entire property is available for roaming/touring/whatever – big field, creek, and in main room, two computers available for net browsing, whatever
    PS2 – bring games/controllers. I’ve rented Wipeout Fusion… it’s pretty fun.
EVERYONE IS INVITED. I will be able to drive people depending on what area needs rides the most – that is, if a few from Fairfax need rides, I’ll go there. Maybe people can schedule carpool rides from Terra Linda or other parts of Marin/SF.
Please reply to this thread if you know you are coming. This is just to expect the number: if it’ll be 5 people, 20 people, who knows.

    1. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Looney Tunes movie either…heard it actually had some smarter jokes. Well, in comparison to LET ME SEE THAT SLAM
Battle Royale’d be cool, but gory and unfunny.
Azumanga Daoih’s probably the best bet.
Wonder if we need didder pads. :\

      1. Don’t know about Azumanga Daioh. If we were to watch that, we’d probably just watch, like, the first 4 episodes or something – or maybe just see how long it takes until people get sick of it.
I have a RedOctane pad, but I’m not sure about its working condition. I have DDRMAX. I doubt lots of people would really want to play DDR, though…

      1. Re: lolzers.
That’d be cool, but I don’t have any. Hannah, someone who’s coming, might have it – but I don’t know, I like the stuff I’ve already got.
