See, even with the ones I haven’t heard, I still like more 9th style songs and dislike more 10th style songs! Proof that 10th style certainly does suck assorted nuts!

NO. It’s a crappy doot-doot-doot song made in like 3 minutes with the most retarded lyrics (even for Engrish) ever. I hate hate hate it.

Even if you don’t like the 10th Style songs, IIDX 9th Style is still the worst music (Beyond Bemani) game ever created for the sole fact that the entire game is off beat. It’s sad that 10th Style only makes it less noticeable, but it’s still pretty off. Instead of hitting the notes when they’re halfway down, now you get to hit them 3/4ths to the bottom. Hooray!!

Hahaha, and this is where I admit my deep dark secret: I’ve never played IIDX in the arcades, just in MixWaver/bemaniaDX. 😛 So uh, they’re not too off-beat to me. But I wouldn’t be surprised. Aren’t 9th style and 10th style based off of Windows XP or something?

Yep, 9th and 10th are based on a version the japanese Windows XP. Personally I think it’s the worst decision that’s ever been made by Konami for this series. They had to reprogram the whole game, they changed the graphics style (instead of 640×320 for images, they use full fledged 640×480 images, I have screens/rips to prove it), had a major issue with system crashes when they first started distributing 9th (10th too I think) and made it that much harder to get IIDX upgrades in the states.
