Neith (Risky)

New stepfile I just made for fun. I made it a nice background. Appreciate it. And it’s from the Konami game, Zone of the Enders – in fact, the same game that L.E.D.’s “The Earth Light” comes from. Whaddaya know!
This stepfile is only for StepMania – although I think you can just take off the “sm” in the extension and unzip it normally if you really, really want to play it in Dance With Intensity.
Download here, yo

  1. StepMania is aka Finger-Lord-of-the-dance!
Wow, someone out there who plays StepMania. I think my life is complete.
DDR is under scrutiny as a nerd’s kinda game. And I understand why. If you go to the locales at popular times (think Saturday or Friday night), you will seen tons of the WEIRDEST people play it. Not only are they weird themselves, but they can’t play. Hearing “Bumblebee” and watching it being played on Beginner a million times drives me nuts. It embarasses me and I go only so often now.
    🙁
But I go like, once every month because it’s still fun. I’m also Asian so that merits me the go-ahead to play it whenever I wants.

Bumblebee makes me sad. Check out my latest entry for a new one I just made.
And your icon/art style is so perfectly Ian J-esque.

      1. Because I’m a human-Kirby?
I just downloaded the StepMania file but uh…not sure how to put it in there. (If it were DWI, then I’d know how to do it, but I’ve already lost all my DWI about a year ago.)
Plus the fact that I recently reformatted. Need to get the StepMania folder off of bro somtime.
*Sigh* If only I could draw like IanJ. I’m no master artist, I’ll tell ya that, and that’s why I’ve studied IanJ-style for a bit now. Would IanJ be flattered or would he kill me for such a thing? Think of me as a human-Kirby that swallowed IanJ and copied him only to lose my power whenever someone hits me hard enough. o_O

If you have StepMania installed, all you have to do is double-click the SMZIP file and it should install itself into the right place.
As for IanJ’s style… well… there are a few parts of your comic where it seems like you crossed the line from inspiration to plain ripping off… like the pose in the last frame of the first comic, or one of your friends looking a whole lot like Dave. I don’t think Ian would really mind – I hang out in a chat room with him on a daily basis – but it might be a good idea to branch off and develop your own style.

          1. At least mohawks and mullets aren’t in style.
Woah, you actually looked through those? I’m embarrassed.
As for the hair thing, I really didn’t try to copy Dave of IanComix or anything. In this day and age, a lot of people have the same hairstyle. It’s hard to distinguish it sometimes. And yes, I am hoping to evolve into my own style perhaps as the days go by. But I really like Ian’s style and that might stay as a foundation for my comic-style, but in no ways will it make up the metaphorical building that is to be my personal way of drawing.
Make sense? Ah…I talk too much.
Oh, and I’m not a very good HTML-literate guy either so I’ve already broken my promise of getting my website back up again within the “two-weeks.”
