People get into talking about drugs, smoking, alcohol, etc. Conversations abound, like “whoa, you won’t believe what I mixed yesterday” and “damn, I must have been throwing up for two hours straight” and “then we had a giant orgy, it was the best night of my life,” stuff like that, etc. etc. etc.
Then they come to me and ask me about my amazing party experiences where I jump off a building covered in vomit with a BAC of 10% and then break my clavicus majoris and have the greatest and most awesome and time ever (with two hot lesbians), and I tell ’em that I don’t smoke, do drugs, nor have I ever gotten drunk.
Then they sober up (whichever way you want to interpret that) and say that they have a lot of respect for my decision and they wish they could have been more like me.
Then they go back to having wild rampant sex and celebrating, celebrating (every night’s the night). What the fuck, I say, what the fuck.
str8 edge 4eva lol!!`
What the fuck do you expect?
Get drunk or shut the fuck up.
ha ha ha! No way. Getting [insert substance appropriate adjective here] is for people who are too boring to think of anything else. They’re pretty pathetic actually and when those people turn 30, they’ll be wondering why they were dancing with/sucking on/making out with people they don’t know or care about and however much fun they thought they had won’t matter.
on the other hand no one ever gets old and says “You know, I really regret not having more hangovers. I wish I could do it all again”
Oh please. Getting fucked up is for people who want to experience life to its fullest potential. You haven’t been ecstatic until you’ve rolled on E. You haven’t been completely relaxed until you’ve smoked your first bongload of THC. You can’t appreciate music for what it is until you’re peaking on an eight of mushrooms. You will never have creative, philosophical or deep thinking on the same level as anyone who has dropped acid. The only reason you don’t do drugs is because you are afraid of what it will do to you. If you had a strong mental conciousness, you would embrace the beauty that drugs bring into this world. Sure, some drugs can ruin lives. That’s why drugs aren’t for everyone. If you were a strong enough individual, you would not be afraid to go beyond what society deems acceptable, and experience what you could never even dream of.
Please, don’t insult enlightened people because of your own fear. Grow past that.
o_o? who are you? why are you replying to me?
I just left a note for Jeffrey, but obviously you’re right. Since your advice is much better, he should go spend his money on drugs and try everything he can right now. And so should I… I’m buying some right now so you should be happy. ^__^
You don’t need to a sarcastic bitch!
Insulting people for using drugs is like insulting people for enjoying sex. Shut the fuck up.
Oh, and if you didn’t notice, you replied to me first.
I didn’t notice… “you” = who?
this is someone’s journal, btw not a place to be anonymously rude. I left a note because I agree with Jeffrey, meanwhile you can’t bring yourself to use a name or even include a verb in every sentence. You can preach your message about how great you are for using drugs but what do you expect to accomplish by posting angry notes here?
Mm, btw, I’m not insulting people for having sex– that is great and all natural– But if you have to pay someone to process and give you all your good feelings in a the form of a chemical that you can’t generate without intervention then yeah, that makes me say “aww, too bad for you”.
If you would actually try drugs, you would realize that it isn’t all about the good feeling. It’s about the experience. You would learn more about society, life, and yourself on a psychoactive trip than you could even comprehend while sober. Drugs give you a deeper meaning to life. They open your mind.
Calling people pathetic and boring isn’t rude? Whether it’s anonymous or not doesn’t matter.
Do you really know what a verb is? If you did, you would realize that my grammar is impeccable.
I expected that you weren’t too stuck up to actually think about what I said. All I am trying to accomplish is to encourage you to think before you insult people, especially about something you know nothing about.
Wow. You’ve really got some problems if you can’t give out your “honest” opinion without stating who you really are. What, do I have to enable LJ-user-only commenting or something to establish some civil conversation?
You don’t know me. That’s all you need to know.
