Hey what is your method for posting? what do you use to capture, edit, upload,etc?
I use Microsoft LifeCam software which captures to WMV, I throw the WMV into GoldWave so I can boost the sound and mix it with music, then I use Windows Movie Maker to stitch it all together and export it as a “for home viewing” WMV.
Really, really low-tech. A friend was pitying me yesterday and said he’d give me a copy of Sony Vegas.
Aah.Seems like a lot of work. I found a program called STOIK capturer which works fine with my eyetoy, and it exports it to wmv, then I just upload it.
I want to try playing around with the editing, but the uploading process already takes forever and I’m impatient.
Its amazing though that WMM doesn’t actually suck as hard as the mane would imply.
Nah, it’s not a lot of work. Takes about half an hour from capture to uploading. The LifeCam software can also save directly to WMV, and I could upload it straight from there, but I like to make sure it’s not too quiet first – and while I’m at it, I insert music.
Today’s took a long time though because I had to find a reliable way to get that bikini picture right in the middle of the movie. WMVs are a fickle mistress.
