I actually spent a couple years in an office / cube setting before coming to school. At first I was pretty cool with it, but after a while it got fairly intolerable. Although that also depends largely on the company you’re working for. Fwiw, I recommend sticking to companies of < 10 people, 'cause they can move faster and it's more funnerness.
