saywha? I read that they’ve recently released a music video, but I see no album on oink or slsk. There is the “untitled (2007)” on some websites, which seems a bit shady to me. That is, what’s your source? What’s the release news that I’m missing?
You really haven’t heard about it? They’ve already announced the title of the first single:
“Gullible”. It’s supposed to be very “OK Computer”-ish with a dash of “The Bends”.
It’s a gullibility joke if it’s so obviously false that only a gullible person would fall for it (or if it’s april fools). Jeffery could have connections that I don’t, and I’ve fallen completely out of the radiohead loop, so it was possible from my pov. Thus not funny, just disappointing.
I think the title of the album was the biggest giveaway.
It was sort of funny for me, because when I read this entry I didn’t notice the subject line, and I did exactly the same thing you did – scour Wikipedia, OiNK, and Google for any information related to a new Radiohead album. When I came up empty-handed I came back and re-read the entry. This time I noticed the title, and realized that it was exactly what Jeffery just sent me on.
