it’s interresting to note that because of this, native bees are actually making a comeback. but… native bees don’t make nearly as much honey, and aren’t cultivated.

Creamed honey is DELICIOUS. It’s the only way I like honey, in fact. You can get it at Safeway..it’s a bit more expensive than regular honey, but worth it.
Also, I’ve heard honey mead tastes like vomit. Still, this does not deterr me. My friend is making up a batch of honey mead this summer, and we’re having a honey mead party. If it works out, you’re invited.

Haha, the reason we were talking about mead was because my friend was saying he’d have a “FREE BOOZE!!!!” 21st birthday party but all he would serve is mead and he’d make everyone listen to Rhapsody.
But actually I went down to the local Trader Joe’s and got some creamed honey and mead today, both of which must have been made in Awesometown.

The mead was surprisingly good – for me. I like sweet (and often cheap) alcoholic stuff so this was right up my alley. Almost like Manischewitz only less obnoxious.
And my test was today and I did well! I’ll vlog more about that soon! But this quarter I actually go to sleep at 2 and wake up at 10 every day. My schedule can vary as long as I get 8 of ’em.

Hah! Manischewitz over that brown Kedem crap any day. I Seder’d at the Brownsteins this year, and I can’t even tell you how great it was to sit back and listen to all the (very typically Jewish) kvetching about the Kedem wine. They actually halted all ceremony to go out and get “The Good Stuff”.
Also, I’m glad you did well on your test! I’m jealous of your languid sleep schedule, however. I’d love to wake up at 10. *pouts about it*
