dude the music was hella loud at some points..
oh and i was thinking about that awesomeness thing today and clearly i get super awesome points for believing in awesomeness way before! because it’s true!
like, i think it was on the way to fanime last year that you were telling me about how your whole philosophy is based on having fun, even if you don’t seem like one of those “CRAZY-FUN-TIME-WILD-PARTY!!!” people and i was like gosh, WHATEVER, that is nothing like me! except then i thought about it again and i realized that i actually do base myself on the exact same thing, except that i think part of my good feelingness includes things like religion and tradition, but see, in the end i don’t do it for anybody except me, so it’s basically the same idea. i do what’s good for me, and what’s good for me just ends up being jewey things or things that are good for other people or things that are good for my family and in the end it all makes me happy. and all this might have nothing to do with how you see things at all, but that’s how i got started on it..
oh and too bad about the kite flying. 🙁
Definitely!
For one thing I like to say that it is impossible to be “selfless.” Whatever you do for other people, either you feel good about yourself, or people’s concept of you will improve.
And also yes I think even by practicing traditional things or even doing stuff that some people would find totally boring (like organizing an iTunes library) you can have fun and that is important.
