I can’t see myself sitting here and doing this job for the next few months, but for some awfully strange reason, everyone else in my division sees me doing whatever I’m doing just fine.
WHAT AM I DOING

Hello and welcome to hell!
Better figure out what you’re gonna do with your LIFE since your field of expertise is a boring dead end! 😀
Don’t worry, we’re all fucked.
Wah wah wah work is hell dead end I’m getting paid a fuckton etc. etc.
No, you don’t understand – people in other cubicle jobs actually have things to do. This is not to say that the 2-hour nap in this chair wasn’t enjoyable, but I’d be TOTALLY fine having a job like this where I’m actually assigned some duties.
Go around asking people if you can refill their coffee, that’s a good duty.
And I assigned it! It’s a secret mission.
coming from my limited experience sitting in a cubicle, i always find it fun to listen to the people/person in the adjacent cubicle(s) phone conversations.
((that sentence had plenty of grammatical errors, i’m sure. i’m exhausted from my REAL WORK.kthanx.))
I just was introcduced to the corporate world as an employee. I have a lot to do, since I was brought on for one specific function, but the boredom is killer.
yeah, I had a paid internship in high school where it was from 8 am to 5 pm and I never had anything to do but sit in my cubicle and stare blankly at the monitor sitting in front of me until I basically went crazy.
maybe instead of doing hourly work you can do contractual work? you’d get less money, but at least you’d get paid for doing stuff…
