    1. On a related note, Ozy and Millie is another one of those things that didn’t even strike me as “furry” until I noticed you read it.
      How horribly thoughtless of me.

      1. That happens not just because you aren’t looking for it, but because it’s being discreet about it. I don’t like Megatokyo, for example, because it screams out “I’M SOOOOOO MANGA! AND GAMER! IT’S AWESOME!” and that’s basically the only hook it has, because the story is so complicated and slow-paced(at least, now it is) that getting interested in that is impossible; even the older ones with lots of jokes didn’t really grab me because of this prioritization.
O&M is relatively transparent by comparison; it’s the characters and jokes that grab you, not the fandom.

        1. Of course. I don’t think any less of it now that I realize something that was quite obvious, and it’s just due to that – it doesn’t bring attention to itself. It doesn’t scream out “A FURRY COMIC WHERE WE CAN ALL GET ALONG AND APPRECIATE FURRIES.”
On another related note, I could never get through one page of Megatokyo.

English is not my first language, though, but I guess that only helps my case.
