Bemanistyle just had the greatest MP3 update ever, including this song:

Kind Lady ~extended mix~

Brief weekend recap to fill in space between the "heavy hitter" blogs (uh):

Friday was an awesome day out on "the town" (i.e. SR, where there's NOTHING TO DO) with Momo, Levi, and Betty that all of us had been waiting for for too long. It's been covered more thoroughly than this in three different ways, but here are

Five High Points:

  • Momo served us homemade sushi and (my birthday gift to her) peach tea at the donut shop where her friend works, and we all stuffed. I'd call it "soul food", but...er, no. Anyway, it started the rest of the day off very bein.

  • I'm never getting a ride to Starbase again if I can just take a long walk there with Momo like I did on this day. When you can just walk or do nothing with somebody and still enjoy each other's company and later remember every little detail of it, it's a good sign that...Gowdey's moving on now.

  • After much pestering and "scheming" from Levi and Betty to get Momo and I alone, I finally took Momo out behind the Base and gave her her birthday necklace, a model of the one Tidus wears in FFX. It made my day to see her reaction to that. X)

  • Bryan got an impossible 5x5x5 Rubix cube, and came damn near close to throwing the chunk at Conrad like old times. It's curtains for that ming vase.

So after Momo and Betty had left, it was just straight up Starbasing with Levi, not-the-D-crew (who took off), and Chris's friends. Almost passed MaxX this time around about 15 seconds from the end, had a surprisingly good talk out back with Randee (didn't know he used to be a choreographer..), and had one of the best freestyling doubles sessions on the 5th mix...well, evar. I swear, I dance worse when I'm on video. Also, Levi's itching to learn to dance and has started to memorize Let the Beat Hit 'Em ~classic RnB style~. I've introduced the Days Go By video to him and he can't stop watching and trying to imitate it. :D

Saturday, I had a track meet invitational, and although I felt pretty crappy, as it was in the morning, I ended up running a 4:50 and 10:34 mile/2 mile. It was the fastest combined 3 miles I've ever run at a meet, whee. Sos and I ate at a "Japanese kitchen" that served pork fried rice, chow mein, and sweet and sour chicken...wtf.

The meet went until 6 (basically took a school-sized bite out of Saturday, fuhbaww), and from there it was straight to Hannah's birthday party. More highs...off....Jew:

  • Only three other people were from Terra Linda...wow has my friend base shifted this year. X)

  • Akira was watched and subsequently made fun of--aside from the name yelling, we had a laugh at how everybody went 8 (| |) at some point.

  • Half of Hannah's gifts were cheapass novelty ones from Adam, Bryan, G-hoff, and some other people, including a pear containing $5, a 3 pack of underoos, 16 bouncy balls, Ted of SR (gift-wrapped, of course), and a hamster that both danced and looked like it was fapping. I forget most of the rest, but they were both awful and perfect for someone as random as Hannah.

  • Steve, Nessa, Simbo, and Lolo (?) sang Monty Python songs at the top of their lungs...no, hold on, that sucked.

Aside from talking to Momo, Sunday was rainy, gloomy, and boring. So boring I took one of those surveys, and decided that I need to buy this. That's about all I'm going to say. Oh, Indogutsu recommends "Brides" and this horrible fanfiction. And Pablo Francisco's a pretty funny video download off Kazaa.

That should do it...now to try not to get too nervous about tomorrow. It'll be a first, that's all I'm saying. ;)
