Okay, wow. Winston Churchill, Marilyn Monroe, and James Earl Jones each had stutters.

Yesterday was pretty laid back but productive. =)

I woke up a little late and realized that this rib pain I've been having since last Wednesday has gone from bad to worse, as I can't do a situp out of bed without having to go through the sensation of some spikey haired freak slamming one of these into me.

Fortunately, a visit to the doctor the day before ensured that it's only a flesh wound behind-and-between-the-rib-muscle tearing (from all that coughing), not a congested lung or a cracked rib. Still hurts whenever I laugh, cough, or stretch, though. =|

I went to Bryan's house, played some 5th mix and missed AAA'ing a few songs (2 Greats on Absolute/Nori Nori Nori, 7 on Insertion, arrgh!), listened to Adam and his incredibly loud/annoying bass, and was able to encode all the freestyle videos from the UC Berkeley tournament. Now I finally have a reliable source for cam-to-digital conversion, awesome.

After this came the best part of my day (except for the fact that I was late), as I headed over to the mall to meet up with Momo, Levi, and Momo's friend Midori. There were some freshman there, one of who kept pulling his pants up--D'GHAH. Jeff was also there, playing alongside his sister Lily, who's suddenly moved up to playing stuff on Heavy. How in the hell.

Now who is Momo exactly? My #1 fangirl from the swing dance at TL, friend of Betty, who's the girlfriend of Levi. She draws fanart of me here, here, here, here, here, and one I haven't scanned in yet. Gad, seeing these drawn so often puts me in such a good mood...nobody's been this obsessed with me sweet. :P

Momo handed me a bag of awesome Japanese hard candy that she'd bought for me at Japantown, and I was one happy goatee. Even better, some were peach flavored! (Momo = "peach" in Japanese...and even better, her last name, Cha, means "tea")

She and I danced together and she passed a few songs (yay, next to teaching Levi freestyle, I have somebody else to tutor!), even with that busted left arrow that was "fixed". We all left to talk about random things on the breezy upper level of the parking lot--surprise, no stutter outside, only in the arcade (she still thinks it's kawaii, though X). So that went a lot better conversation-wise than inside--I need to get out more.

We then went to EB and drooled over games like Xenosaga, Dynasty Warriors 4, Pokemon Snap ("OH, SNAP!") and that Mary Kate and Ashley racing game, then started a list of movies we need to see for a movie night. So far it's Shaolin Soccer, Spirited Away (Momo's all "WE ALL NEED TO SEE THIS EVEN THOUGH I'VE SEEN IT FIVE TIMES!"--), and a boatload of Jackie Chan movies. Whoo, it'd be awesome to do that Saturday. =)

After that, it was greasy Chinese food at C-c-c-combo King. Levi got a drink bigger than Java from Taco Bell, hah. The cashier there had seen me freestyle a lot, and asked if I went to clubs (or "the disco") in San Francisco. I misheard her and told her I did, and then she asked which ones, and then I realized what was happening and got really flustered. She found out I was 17, laughed and said I was "too young for the disco", and that was that. Embarassing. >_<

It then came around time to leave, so we danced--even more embarrassing was me failing WWW.BlondeGirl ~Momo Mix~ on doubles in front of Momo, argh--and I accidentally forced her to do Matsuri Japan, her favorite song, but a 4 footer. XO

Back outside, where the quote of the day came about (and I MISSED IT while I was on the phone!):

Little Kid: Mommy, why is that boy touching that girl's--
Mom: That's what we would call "getting fresh".

Heh. We then made a loop around the parking lot and talked about how much her brother sucks some more (best topic of conversation ever X), as he kept calling her on her cell and bugging her ("That guy you were playing DDR with was SO HELLA better than you!"). She wants both me and Levi to beat him up in payment for sushi, and I couldn't be happier to oblige, muah. And it was then time for me to get picked up. One big hug later (she's so huggable!), and I was in the mom car, thinking about how much I'd miss everyone over this break. *sigh*

I'm in a hurry and off to Oregon and Washington (and Seattle! w00t!) now to check out Willamette and Puget Sound for a final time, and mom's yelling at me to go. I've decided that as I'm going to be a bit bored during the trip, I could get those old blogs written and posted up when I get back. I still really want to talk about the swing dance, and the day with Omid, KFC, the Max Kuperman party, the track meet with Momo there to watch, the tournament with Simon/Levi/Sophie/Annie...arghghh, so much happening lately.

Miss ya.
