Whoops, looks like the GIA really is dead. Even though I never went there...(SoCal mode) damn, bitch!

Speaking of SoCal (I HATE THAT ABBREVIATION), it's time for us to gather round our radioactive monitors and listen to Uncle Canada bore you about his four day trip to check out colleges in Southern California, which
was almost exactly like Jeff's, only not as interesting or in-depth.

Monday:

We drive to Santa Barbara, nonstop. Yes, that's right, my entire family. My sister was dragged along--sucks for her. 8D After all, this wasn't really a vacation at all, just a "trip" (see the difference?) to check out colleges...anyway, I listen to PvD an' Gorillaz an' random electronica for 6 hours until we arrive at Santa Barbara--the city (?) had a definite Spanish feel to it, and was uneventful, as I saw barely anybody roaming the streets--and the GENERIC HOTEL.

Holy CRAP, here was FREE COFFEE in the hotel's lounge! I end up loving the place solely for that reason. My family decides to head around town and get dinner while leaving me in the hotel to study AP Biology for 2 hours...I manage to read a chapter, organize my CD case, and watch TERRIBLE late night Mexican wrestling for about ten minutes before I realize that this is the stupidest thing I have ever seen (kinda like one of those songs so bad you don't realize it's on until a few seconds later--ever had that?). Case in point: They wore the same damn mask, were all overweight, pulled off boring, low-risk top rope moves (not an oxymoron in their arena), and looked like they worked construction in their off-hours. The announcers, of course, go insane. ("ESTAMILOS EL TACO PLAAAAANCHAAAAAA!"). Contrasting to the WWF, which I stopped watching years ago for getting increasingly boring, it was like comparing this to this. At least the wacky, horribly acted Spanish commercials made up for it.

My family comes back, bearing a McChicken sandwich wannabe, and tell me they found a DDR 3rd Mix Korean machine tucked away in an old 50s throwback cafe. Grack. We try to watch The Osbournes--reality show following the life of Ozzy Osbourne and his trashy family--realize that MTV still has the worst programming of any station out there (rivaling Oxygen), and sl33pzor.

I've got AP Bio to studly for (HILARIOUS TYPOHO), and a movie to watch on the comp after...so until next time...post comments that Jeff added.

In other news, Almasy BEATS TemporarySpastic (who has a 1440 SAT omg) in round 1 of my chess tourney.

April Foolz day, and a slew of mildly funny jokes are getting tossed around:

Shoryuken.com <- BEST OF ALL
DDRFreak (proving to have some of the densest forum goers around--look how many were truly serious)
Somethingawful.com (better than last year)
GameFaX (YES! FINALLY!)
Inside Mac Games (not that I ever go here...)
Slashdot
The Gia (again?)

Note to E-Bay: What were you thinking?

On a side note: YES

In celebration of Easter, which I see as one of the lamest themes for a holiday ever (fuzzy things and spotted eggs, really), I bring thee:

Random chat log between me and SmarterChild, that lovable bot on AIM we love to swear at to see what he says. Featuring a fun cameo by Ahnold sound effects.

Happatai's Yatta!, in DWI format (for the Dance With Intensity DDR emulator). Yes, I was bored, but it was worth it. Soon to come are Trick and Maniac versions, but I'll have ya know that the Basic version mimics the steps they do in the video.

Final note: I'll be gone from Tuesday to Saturday on a trip to Southern California (SOCAAALLLLL KEKEKEH!!!!11) to check out colleges, just in case you're wondering why I'm not updating every day this week like usual.

Jeff, I need comments.
