Just a reminder to try out Shichimenchouken.

Speaking of RM2K games, it's back to Pt. Reyes for another fun-filled adventure of eating cream cheese and jam bagels and carrying a truckload on my back for 26 miles! Maybe I'll get some ideas for Pt. Reyes: TAG. Or maybe I'll be too busy reading this GODDAMN SCIENCE BOOK by a guy who looks just like me. In any case, I'll be gone for a week.

Wow, if I hadn't said this, nobody would have noticed anyway.

Luckily, I have a couple little tidbits to tide the restless fans over. I bet you haven't seen a chat log in a while, have ya?

From the long-lost archives of my mail account, here's an article from QuistisChick on the popularity of Mr. T.

And if you haven't already, check out Superbad.com, for...reasons. Thanks to Lobstaboy (<- his site doesn't work on Netscape, for some reason) for first introducing me to it.

One more thing: VOTE! (thank you, DaPikkel...)

The biggest Marvel vs. Capcom 2 tournament in the world just ended, and a 15 year old kid from New York won it. Thus, the SRK forums get interesting. If only we still had quotes of the day...

When are they gonna start reporting details and shit damn!!! Samson is getting impatience. Jesus I passed up a threesome to read about this shizzal my nizzal.

Anyway, just so I don't feel completely worthless around here, I fixed all the broken Song links before Jeff could. Kind of a job that calls for Ragnarok, but now that you could say I'm...unemployed at the Swamp, it's the least I can do. Any nitpicky jobs that need me, Jefe, I got 'cher nitpicking right here. Maybe I can rotate the pics from the Metreon so half of them aren't sideways.

Filler:

Don't forget to vote in the SUPAR VOTE GOODY TIME! below...Serpent the e-wrestler won his biggest match in his entire 3 year career...check the Bored for a whiny post by me...I still can't review PS2 games until I get a memory card--thank goD for my birthday that's coming up...nn4|) pr0p2 to Jordan Thomas and Gil Ronen for actually sending an e-mail to a member of the Midgar Staff...

Well, there we go. 231 Sightings are back, moved from the Old Stuff section into the Features section. (It's in Features because it's a Swamp exclusive. Duh.) Contributions are welcome - in this brave new world, one is bound to find what Felix Trapper calls the "new mark of the devil."

Here's another one! Add 2, 3, 1 and one together. Make a three-digit number (like the number 231) made only of the sum of 2, 3, and 1. What do you have? 666!
...Heh, okay. That was lame.

Two more old sections have also been revived: Songs and FAQ's and IAQ's.

SUPAR VOTE GOODY TIME! Cast your vote for the next section you'd like to see revived on the Midgar Swamp! That means, it will continue to be added onto, updated, and LOOKED AT because it's not rotting away in the Old Stuff section. To place your vote, leave a comment on this blog. PS: Don't say "all sections." You know most of them are pretty cheesy and stupid. If you really want to see the old dumb sections, they're always there for you to look at in Old Stuff.

Felix Trapper, esteemed MIDI composer and RM2K guru of tri-Kanji, has created his first big game, Shichimenchouken (Sword of the Seven-Faced Bird). You can download it from the "Games" section at Gaming Ground Zero. I've played through it - the intro and history are astounding, as well as a few hilarious inside jokes... for example, it takes place in the year 1337, you find yourself in the WRONG GAME, STUPID at times, and it contains the complete history of why 231 is the NEW mark of the devil.

Speaking about that, 231 Sightings are returning soon. Probably by the end of the day. And I have an announcement:

WE HAVE not DIED!!
