This is the first simfile I&#8217;ve released <a href=\"https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/two-new-simfiles\/\">since 2006<\/a> &#8211; a bit has changed in terms of <a href=\"https:\/\/itc.dance\/simfile-creation-resources\/\">step chart meta<\/a> since then, but I&#8217;ve been doing everything I can to catch up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My son (novice player) and wife (hard player) and I (expert player) have all had this song from the Barbie soundtrack stuck in our head for a good week solid, so I decided to make a file for all of us to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/static\/sm\/Dance%20the%20Night.zip\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Dua Lipa - Dance the Night\" class=\"wp-image-2721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG-1568x882.jpg 1568w, https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/BG.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/static\/sm\/Dance%20the%20Night.zip\">Dua Lipa &#8211; Dance the Night<\/a><br>Difficulties: SN1\/SE3\/SM5\/SH7 (XO)\/SX9 (BXF SS HS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To play this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Install <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itgmania.com\/\">ITGmania<\/a> (my StepMania fork of choice)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to ITGmania&#8217;s Songs folder, and create a new folder (called JeffreyATW or whatever)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unzip the above zip file and drag the Dance the Night folder into the JeffreyATW folder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start ITGmania and play!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s also been <a href=\"https:\/\/jeffreyatw.com\/blog\/2022\/11\/what-ive-been-up-to\/\">almost a year<\/a> since I posted anything here, or anywhere else on the Internet for that matter. Here&#8217;s my update: nothing! Still working, parenting, dancing!
