So yesterday I bought a ticket from SFO to LAX on Priceline. I need one because I’m leaving for Israel from LAX, and flying down is the cheapest and easiest way to get to LAX… anyway.
\nI needed to buy the earliest flight in the morning, so I got one that arrives at 7:20AM. A few hours later, United pushed the flight time up by 2 hours, which would make it arrive at 8:49AM, therefore giving me only two hours to get my bags, run from Domestic to International, find my Birthright group, go through security again… blrh. Would not have been fun or feasible. Just my luck to buy a ticket mere hours before its time is moved…
\nSo I called Priceline up and despite United’s “no refunds” policy, they were able to refund my ticket. I then used them to get another (even cheaper) flight that arrives at 7:50AM. Hooray Priceline!
